CCS Tuition and Tuition Assistance

At Celeryville Christian School our mission is to assist parents in providing a Christ-centered, quality education for their children, thereby preparing them to live a life of service to God.

 

Celeryville Christian School is committed to keeping Christian education accessible, regardless of family income, and offers highly experienced and well-educated teachers, low student-teacher rations, and high quality education programs.

Tuition Payments

Celeryville Christian School families have their tuition payments automatically withdrawn from either their checking or savings account each month. This automatic withdrawal is set up through the FACTS Management Company.

 

To set up your tuition payment agreement through the FACTS Management Company, please click the FACTS e-Cashier logo below.

 

 

If you made your tuition payments through FACTS during the 2009-2010 school year, your tuition payment agreement for the new school year has already been set up, using the same payment plan as last year.  There is nothing more that you need to do.  When you have questions or wish to make changes to your payment plan, please contact the school office.

Financial Aid

To apply for assistance through Celeryville Christian School, parents must complete a Grant & Aid application and submit it to the FACTS Management Company. (FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Website) Paper applications are available at school office. Click on the enrollment link to find more information about FACTS.

 

SCRIP

SCRIP is a term that means "substitute money." SCRIP was developed to assist parents with the cost of tuition. When you purchase SCRIP, you are purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash. The purchasing of a gift certificate is a dollar for dollar value. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with SCRIP. The SCRIP is issued by the national and local retailers where your family already shops. These merchants want to support non-profit organizations, and in return, ask you to support them by shopping with SCRIP at their stores.

 

As a non-profit organization, Celeryville Christian School can purchase SCRIP from participating merchants at a discount. For instance, most grocery SCRIP can be purchased at a 4-5% discount.

 

How to Order SCRIP

SCRIP certificates are ordered on a weekly basis. Links  for the SCRIP retailers and SCRIP registration from are at the bottom of this page. The weekly ordering schedule is as follows:

 

Monday-       Please have your order turned in no later than 8:00 a.m. Each family will be issued an envelope with their name and SCRIP account number on the outside. This envelope will be used for collection of SCRIP orders and distribution of SCRIP certificates. Please use this envelope each time you turn in a SCRIP order. Payment by personal check (payable to CCS SCRIP) or cash, must accompany your order. (There will be a $20 fee for NSF checks.) Also, it is a good idea to keep a personal record of what you ordered for your own records.

Thursday-    You can pick up your SCRIP certificates from 2:15 to 3:00, in the school lobby. We will require an adult signature at time of pick-up. If you are unable to come to the school during this time, you will need to contact us to make other arrangements.

 

Additional Information

        In order for our SCRIP program to operate, we will have some expenses. In addition to operating expenses, we also pay shipping costs for each order we place. Therefore, we will deduct a half percent of your total order from your SCRIP credit to cover these expenses.

      If you want to participate in this program to support Celeryville Christian School but currently have no students enrolled, you may direct your credit to a student(s) of your choice. Also, if you are the parent or grandparent of a future CCS student, you can start accruing tuition money for them, and direct the funds to an account in their name.
